Hohai University

Currently, Hohai University offers 52 undergraduate majors, and awards first-level class master degrees in 34 disciplines, second-level class master degrees in 185 disciplines. It also has 9 research bases for post-doctoral students, first-level class Ph.D. degrees in 12 disciplines and second-level class in 57 disciplines. Among these, there is a first-level class key discipline--Hydrology, Hydraulic Engineering, designated by Chinese government and 7 are designated as second–level class key disciplines. In addition, 4 disciplines are recognized as first-level class key disciplines at the provincial level, and 9 as second–level class key disciplines. Hohai University has 10 key laboratories, 7 national engineering research centers above provincial and ministerial level. Among them, Hydrology, Hydraulic Engineering, and Civil Engineering related disciplines are among the top ones in China, it is especially true with the former. Hohai University has a current enrollment of more than 40,000 full-time students, including 13,072 masters and 19078 undergraduates.
